Exactly what happened when this semester ended.
Here I am, working hard away at studying my Latin and Greek (sort of) and The Damnwell’s “Tonight and Forever” come on and suddenly #SOMANYFEELINGS. This song always tugs at my heart and then sinks it. I’ve learned how to be happy by myself and I am and I know that I can be. But just like everyone else, you’re always looking and waiting for the “right” person to come along; you know, the one you’re going to spend the rest of your life with; the one you’ll go to movies with, go fishing and hiking with, go on long bike rides to nowhere, have picnics with; the one you’ll spend nights laying under the stars talking about nothing and everything; the one who is willing to do the things you want to just because you simply want them too; the one who’ll love every quirky thing about you; the one who’ll bring out the serious side in you, but also the dork in you; the one who’ll know how to love you, but also how to piss you off at the same time. This list could be neverending; I’m a hopeless romantic. Everyone dreams of living happily ever after with the one they’ll love forever and ever
……But then there’s always the fear that you won’t; that you won’t find that person. What then? You’ll die alone with your dogs? (or cats if you’d prefer). No. You’ll die knowing that the world lost; that no one ever got a chance to know how awesome you are. But that won’t happen, because I’m a firm believer that there’s someone out there for everyone. You’ll have plenty of the “ones.” You’ll have the one that first broke your heart; the one who taught you how to see the world differently; you’ll have the one who you thought you were going to spend the life with, but circumstances and timing just didn’t let it work; you’ll always have the one that got away; the one that you’ll always wonder about, that if you had just said something, that you’d be spending your life with that person now. You’ll have all these ones who’ll help you along on your path to finding the one.
So the point of this post, I’m not sure. Be patient with love and you’ll find the right one?? It may all just be bullshit. I don’t know, but I’m sure I could have made this post go on forever, but I will be a good student today and get some work done. But thanks, The Damnwells, for inspiring this post.

I haven’t been ‘tumblring’ a lot lately, but it’s FINALS WEEK, so that can only mean excessive ‘tumblring’ + two sides of procrastination and hold the sleep.

Goddamn. I’m more than excited for this film. Guess watching Brick & The Brothers Bloom multiple times until September will have to hold me over :)
